Cherai Tails Update | March 2026
Peshna, our beloved friend and the founder of Cherai Tails, died on 16th March 2026.
We have managed to rehome 13/14 of her permanent resident dogs. Some have found wonderful homes, whereas others are in a shelter, which is not ideal. The money from our fundraiser has been used to care for and rehome Peshna's dogs and pay her debts. We will still be searching for better homes for the shelter dogs, so if anyone would like to adopt or contribute financially, please see the link below.
Pesh donated her body to medical science; she did not have a funeral.
She will be greatly missed.
How you can support us
Cherai Tails relies entirely on donations from kind individuals.
Due to Peshna's illness, Cherai Tails is in the process of closing. The best way you can support us is to donate to our Fo Fund Me link above, so we can pay for all of the costs of looking after and eventually rehoming her 14 resident dogs.
